Grand Union Canal

The Grand Union Canal was built over 200 years ago to trade from London up to the Midlands and some of the most beautiful parts meander through Northamptonshire.

Many buildings still exist that were once built for the boat people working the canals.

The area around The Wharf Inn included stables for the towing horses.
