Our first boat is the Busy Bee.

She was born in a draughty boat-builders shed near Milton Keynes, the daughter of Hard Work and Dedication.

She spent her formative months being honed and polished, looking forward to the day when paying customers would marvel at her beauty.

Like all beloved children, she had to fly the coop. She was transported by road via the Bilsworth Tunnel to her temporary abode at Gayton, which she took to like, well, like a boat to water.

Here she was launched, amid much cork-popping and cheering ready for the final stage of her transition into a wonderful, mature riverboat.

At Gayton, she will be fitted out with the finest furnishings, and a comprehensive sound system completes her transformation. The whole vessel will be ready for painting very soon ready for an Easter start.

She is a 42ft traditional style canal boat offfering imaginative cruises along the beautiful Grand Union Canal.

She is attractively fitted with comfortable seating and flush toilet facilities, a small kitchen and a drinks bar.

There will always be your captain and crew to help make your occasion truly special.
